The player worked at a radio station in Denmark. It consisted of a powerful frame on which the player was mounted (industrial studio design). To “domestically” design, a plinth was made, decorated with veneer of a valuable wood species. Currently, the player’s design consists of the following elements:
-plinth veneered with “fish eye” veneer
-drive mechanism, which consists of a powerful low-speed motor, which through a flat belt drives the player’s disk
-engine control unit (speed adjustment and switching)
-support plate on which 2 tonearms are mounted (Rega RB-300 and Pro-Ject 9CC Carbon with Audio-Technica and Ortofon heads).
-covers made of plexiglass.
The player in assembled form is shown in the photo. Its weight is 40 kg.
Well-damped plinth, floating engine suspension and other design measures eliminate the spread of vibrations and resonances. The player is equipped with spare belts and can work around the clock.
