Digital-to-analog converter from the American company Schiit Audio. It is 1.5 times more expensive than its younger brother Schiit Modi and cheaper than Schiit Multibit (Modi DAC line devices). Among the improvements, Schiit has now included a preamplifier output in the Magni 2 Uber, a more powerful power supply and a stunning brushed aluminum finish.
Uses the AKM AK4490 chip. On the front panel there is a button for switching digital inputs USB, Toslink, Coax and a power indicator.
On the back panel there are these digital inputs, a power socket (16 Volts AC) and a power switch.
Created exclusively in the USA, Schiit adheres to a simple philosophy: to produce high-quality and stylish products designed for the real world.
The MODI 2 UBER connects to any Windows or Mac computer and requires no drivers to fully unleash its potential with a sampling rate of 24-bit/192kHz.
It features an asynchronous transfer mode with a custom crystal.
