Moreover, the player is compatible with most formats on the market. The player is built on an ESS processor. The maximum resolution at the HDMI output is 1080i. The interface operating mode is set via the menu, there is an “automatic” that selects the resolution in agreement with the TV. The transcoder is without MULTI (AUTO) mode, so you have to choose either NTSC or PAL. There is a black level switch Black Level – normal / darker.
The Vid / Digital button disables "extra" analog circuits in the video path when switching via HDMI, which contributes to better image quality. The remote control is very convenient, with backlighting and with shaped transport control buttons, which is very important when working in a darkened room.
