The cable conductors are made of multi-strand oxygen-free copper with silver plating and insulated with FEP - a material similar in characteristics to Teflon; this combination of materials in the insulator is widely used in Chord models - the company believes that this improves signal transmission in a wide frequency range, which is especially noticeable at low and high frequencies. According to its characteristics, the cable is well combined with equipment with different input and output parameters, practically does not introduce its own coloration into the sound.
The cable is protected by a double-layer shield of foil and braid. The screen, in turn, is protected by insulation from the lower layer of soft PVC and the upper rigid PVC.
