Purist Audio Design - an American company was founded in 1986 and began its activity with the production of connectors for the needs of its founder Jim Aud and his friends, but in a very short time its products conquered the US market.
Musaeus acoustic cables of the American brand Purist Audio Design use copper PCCC conductors using the company's proprietary Cryomag© technology - multi-stage cryogenic treatment combined with immersion in a strong magnetic field to align the crystal structure of the conductor, increase its conductivity, reduce resistance and improve musical detail. Teflon is used as an insulation material, an additional damping layer of special granular Ferox powder made on the basis of silicon provides effective protection against external vibrations and, in addition, has shielding properties, minimizing the level of electromagnetic interference and noise. The outer shell of polyvinyl chloride and dense braid of black color has good flexibility, high mechanical strength and wear resistance. The cable is made in the USA. The cable is in the Luminist Revision version. The Luminist Revision version replaced the Praesto Revision.
The Musaeus line of acoustic cables, designed for audiophiles, provides excellent playback quality.
The bananas are made of beryllium copper with a silver coating and then a final gold coating.
