Ultralink Products, Inc., headquartered in Toronto, Canada, has acquired XLO Electric Co., Inc., a well-known manufacturer of professional cables and connectors among audiophiles. Together, they have created Argentum Acoustics, a premium brand specializing in the production of cables for two-channel analog audio signals.
The Argentum Acoustics Mythos balanced cable uses XLR connectors. The connectors are non-magnetic, with minimal mass (which dramatically reduces their self-inductance) and have gold-plated contacts.
