Kimber Kable Monocle-X acoustic cable is a kind of bridge connecting the classic braided models of the 4PR-12TC series and the cables of the most technically advanced Select line.
Structurally, Monocle-X consists of multi-strand conductors made of “hyper-pure” copper, wound on a central core. The patented VariStrand™ technology consists in using conductors of different diameters to prevent mechanical resonances and vibrations. The conductors are intertwined in a special way, which ensures stable signal transmission without loss. Fluoroplastic and polyethylene are used as dielectrics. The cable is made in the USA, factory-fitted with WBT-0610 Cu NextGen™ acoustic bananas with a gold-plated contact group.
The cable is quite neutral, has no obvious accents, melodic and transparent.
