Cables from the German company Audio Plan enjoy a fantastic reputation among music lovers in Germany and around the world.
The main developer of the cables is Thomas Kuhn (Dipl. Ing. Telecommunications Engineering).
Audioplan has been manufacturing various cables (interconnects, speakers, etc.) for over 30 years. It has developed CRC technology, which consistently eliminates the influence of mechanical cable vibrations on the music signal, has tested countless dielectrics for their mechanical and electrical properties. The developers have tested and fused different conductor materials and have also compared the arrangement of the cores and the structure of the cable.
The LS-12 cable is the flagship of the Musiccable cable series from the company. It uses conductors with a CRC damper, which, in a symmetrical arrangement, provide low internal resistance and balanced electrical parameters. This means that impulses and small details reach the loudspeaker without hindrance, without creating an excessive load on the amplifier.
The cable is characterized by a very natural, smooth reproduction. The CRC technology developed by Audioplan ensures smooth reproduction without sharpness and graininess. Of particular note is the good focus of voices and excellent microdynamics. Instrumentally or dynamically complex passages are reproduced spatially clearly and without compression effects.
The cable consists of heavily silver-plated high-purity copper conductors. It ensures phase-correct transmission of all frequency components. The arrangement and connection of the conductors ensure low cable inductance.
