The Audio Technica AT-630 MC Cartridge Step-Up Transformer is designed for use with MC cartridges but works well with most MC cartridges that require a load impedance of up to 20 ohms. Boosts the output level of MC cartridges. The tonearm cables are connected to it, and the ground wire is connected to the screw terminal, after which the output wires are connected to the MM phono stage. This gives a significant improvement over using a low-quality MC phono stage. Perfect for the Denon DL103. Sounds fantastic—not much different from the more expensive AT650 and AT670 models.
