PRE30 is a high-quality two-channel preamplifier with a recording output. There is a bypass option for use with a surround sound processor. The PRE30 is equipped with balanced outputs and two balanced inputs, providing a fully balanced signal circuit when used together with a balanced power amplifier and source. The PRE30 always works with a balanced signal. Therefore, an unbalanced input signal always turns into a symmetric one. The predecessor is equipped with 7 inputs for audio signal sources: two sets of balanced inputs (XLR) and five unbalanced inputs (RCA). The sensitivity of each input can be adjusted separately to compensate for differences in source output levels.
