The CS610C pre-amplifier is the result of over 20 years of research and development. The pre-amplifier circuit is symmetrical and consists entirely of discrete components. The CS610C also makes extensive use of "star grounding", which is implemented by means of a rigid wire and gives a real improvement in stereo separation and sound clarity.
The mains transformer of the pre-amplifier is located in an external housing, which minimizes
magnetic field effect on preamplifier circuitry. The preamplifier uses high-grade, low-tolerance metal film resistors, foil capacitors, an Alps potentiometer, and a switch with silver contacts. CS630C monoblock amplifiers use ultra-fast triple diffusion bipolar transistors. This is a very expensive circuit. The company recommends using DNM Reson as an acoustic cable. The same cable is used inside amplifiers for wiring the signal path.
