This device was based on the model of the company's previous amplifier (ХР-10) and, accordingly, the model of the power amplifier (ХА30.5) from the flagship ХА.5 series. Two bridge rectifiers and 18 capacitors of 10 thousand μF each are installed in the power supply unit. Volume control is implemented using a pair of DS1882 resistive matrices manufactured by Dallas Semiconductor. These are analog potentiometers with digital control and a range of 63 dB (step - 1 dB). A total of 40 field-effect transistors manufactured by the Fairchild company are installed in the output stages of the amplifier, namely 20 N-channel FQA19N20C and 20 P-channel FQA12P20

Inside, in the front part of the device, behind the display and the control board, a huge kilowatt power transformer manufactured by the Canadian company Plitron is mounted - it occupies almost half of the entire volume of the case. In amplifier construction, including thanks to the company Pass Labs, it has become a good tradition to place components that generate interference in the front, and low-current audio circuits - near the input and output connectors.
The back half of the amplifier contains two boards placed one above the other. At the bottom, rectifiers for each channel and eighteen capacitors with a capacity of 10,000 μF are installed - even at first glance it is clear that the amplifier has a multiple reserve of energy to work out rapid dynamic changes in music. The second floor of the amplifier is dedicated to input circuits and switching, which is carried out using selected relays. The amplifier is equipped with a solid metal remote control, which duplicates the functions of the buttons and the volume control and allows you to adjust the stereo balance - it is, of course, more convenient to do this with the help of the remote control.
