George Kardas designed this cable to meet the needs of the recording industry, which needed a neutral cable that would sound the same on both long and short spans.

The geometry of the Cardas Neutral Reference RCA cable is based on the principle of the golden section, namely: winding Litz wires of different calibers (136 in total), the thinnest wires are located in the center, and the cross section of the conductors increases towards the periphery of the cable. This design limits cable inductance and resonance phenomena. The Cardas Neutral Reference RCA cable has a balanced four-axis design. The copper used is extremely pure and the dielectric insulation is provided by alternating PFA (fluoropolymer) and air tubes. Double shielding of copper and Mylar is also applied to obtain perfect signal conduction without interference. Listening reveals a warm sound and very beautiful musicality, with very rich mid-range frequencies and a very lively stereo image. The Cardas Neutral Reference RCA cable uses GRMO-type connectors, which ensure excellent signal transmission quality. The contact is made from a non-magnetic alloy - eutectic brass - then coated with silver and rhodium, two metals with exceptional conductivity. P Manual cold crimping helps preserve the integrity of the cable's conductive properties, particularly by avoiding material change due to heating during soldering.
