Acoustic Revive XLR-1.0PA II is a balanced inter-unit cable made of single-core copper conductors of an oval cross-section with a new type of clamp contacts in XLR-type connectors, without the use of solder. Most modern cables have a construction with multi-core conductors.
Unfortunately, this design is far from perfect, because there is leakage of stray currents. Due to the feedback, the stray currents introduce distortion into the main signal, due to the flow without tendency to the frequencies of the main signal, which ultimately affects the sound quality. The Japanese company Sekiguchi Machine Sales Co. Ltd (Acoustic Revive brand) has adapted the possibility of using cables with conductors of integral monocore constructions, essentially devoid of stray currents. What's more, Acoustic Revive has developed a new balanced XLR type connector design that allows the use of a contact group without soldering.
Soldering is known to destroy conductivity, the new type of connectors in the XLR-1.0PA II uses solderless fasteners, the base of the contact group uses rhodium-plated silver. For even better conductivity, the product is subjected to deep cryogenic processing. The external housing of the connectors is made of a single piece of duralumin alloy 2017S, by mechanical processing, which significantly improves the characteristics of resistance to resonances. XLR-1.0PA II provides excellent presentation, phase-coherent sound picture, wide and deep transmission of the sound space, with elaborately worked out transparent high frequencies and powerful bass at the very bottom. The cable transmits a signal that is absolutely authentic to the original one. It has an excellent musical dynamic sound with a deep and accurate drawing of the background, a full-scale sound picture.
It consists of single-core conductors of oval cross-section, made of ultra-pure monocrystalline copper, which provides stable electrical characteristics, low distortion coefficient and high transmission coefficient. As a result, a perfect conductor surface and pure, natural sound with high resolution. As an insulation material, a silk winding with an air gap is used, which absorbs vibrations and has an antistatic effect. The copper shield provides 100% shielding from electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference. The outer braid made of carbon fiber protects the conductors from external influences, minimizes noise and has anti-vibration properties. It consists of single-core conductors of oval cross-section. Oval single-core conductors made of ultra-pure continuous casting copper (PCOCC-A), conductor in polyolefin insulation, then silk tube from the famous weaving factory Ebisawa Corporation with air gap, twisted screen with copper insulated with fluoroplastic and made by Japanese firm Shinagawa Business and Industrry, on top of carbon sleeve.
