Meridian G51 is an integrated audio receiver of the English company Meridian. Combines a preamplifier, controller and 2x100W power amplifier with ultra-low feedback and low output impedance. The G51 has seven analogue stereo inputs and an AM / FM tuner with RDS / RDBS function. All inputs are labeled Aux, CD, TV, Tape, Disc, DVD and VCR, but can be changed by the user.
The G51 is equipped with a phono equalizer. The cases are made of aluminum and glass. The features of the amplifier include the presence of a tuner with an RDS system, which works in the FM / LW / MW bands - this, by the way, is why the G51 model is sometimes called an "integral receiver" in the Meridian documentation. The amplifier has an advanced switch for seven sources, and the volume control is performed by a double differential circuit. These links of the tract do not introduce any distortions, noises and hints into the sound. The amplifier has the same circuitry as in the DSP8000 top acoustics, i.e. amplifiers on bipolar transistors with a small depth of comprehensive feedback.
