Rotel's reference AV processor. In excellent condition. Original passport and packaging. Despite the fairly modest number of buttons and controls, the front panel can be used to fully adjust almost all of the device's parameters.
Rotel's reference AV processor.
Despite the fairly modest number of buttons and controls, the front panel can be used to fully adjust almost all device parameters. The right control is traditionally responsible for volume control, and the left control is not only a rotary joystick that performs many functions depending on the selected mode, but also and a confirmation button (if you click on it). With the help of such a combination of several buttons and a universal rotary joystick, you can switch inputs, move through the menu, and change sound modes. And you can even do without a remote control.
On the front panel there is a wide-format (16: 9) color LCD monitor (TFT) with a screen diagonal of 17.8 cm (6.9).
There will definitely be no shortage of inputs and outputs. There are only 8 digital inputs alone. Of course, there is an analog 7.1 input for an external decoder, and the 7.1 output to the external amplifier is provided with a double output to the subwoofer and the center channel speaker. As for video switching, the RSP-1098 traditionally works with three types of video signals: composite, S-Video and component. The component video switch supports HDTV, providing a bandwidth of up to 100 MHz. There is a function of converting a composite and S-Video signal into a component one.
The Rotel RSP-1098 can be connected to a multiroom controller to integrate the RSP-1098 into a multiroom complex. The RSP-1098 is capable of wideband processing and supports work with a high-definition television signal. In addition, composite and S-Video signals can be converted into component form. The audio tract provides for the possibility of turning off digital chains when playing two-channel tracks.
