The Funk Firm was founded by the English physicist Arthur Hubesseryan in 2005. Arthur was the developer of the legendary turntables of the English firm Pink Triangle. He is an extraordinary experimenter and an extremely gifted designer in the design of vinyl turntables. His motto is "getting the most out of a disc containing musical information."
He developed the unique tonearms used in The Funk Firm players. It is a fully suspended design, but the trick is to be stable at the same time. This design includes a "virtual anchor" and torsion cable patented by Funk Firm. A rigid fixed plate attached to the tonearm, while the cartridge is attached to the suspension section, eliminating any transfer of vibration to the tonearm tube. In addition, the vibration is not transmitted from the tonearm to the table. So it's as if The Funk Firm's tonearm helps your cartridge avoid being affected by the tonearm.
Flamenca is a new player in the Funk catalog. The player was completely developed within the walls of the company, and contains a large number of innovations. Although the model uses a belt drive, it is not a traditional rubber belt but a double thread, which has more stable mechanical characteristics. In fact, the thread was already used in Funk turntables. Funk. The Flamenca model also has a new F6 tonearm, which also uses a thread. The player has two disc rotation speeds and with an improved design, it is easy to set up and use. The result was a technically advanced model with extremely high quality sound reproduction.
