The kW Sacd transport uses the same suspension principle as the Musical Fidelity M1 vinyl record player. Full drive resolution reduces readout errors and the decoder doesn't have to do a lot of interpolation (i.e. plugging holes with random values) so the sound is as close to the original as possible. But already in the digital path there are specific moments that must be taken into account by the designer. As soon as the RF signal from the laser head enters the decoder and is reduced to the level of transistor logic, a very harmful phenomenon called jitter occurs. In kW SACD components, "digital" problems are solved in the only correct way - by using very fast circuits in the master generator and reclocking circuits.
Digital-to-analog conversion is carried out by a double differential DAC. The DAC has two output buffers - transistor and tube, operating in class A. Their inputs are connected in parallel, and the outputs are connected to different RCA connectors.
