By adopting a Shibatar needle cut into a special shape, wide-band characteristics are realized.

The Shibatar needle used in the 4MD-1X has a unique shape designed for CD-4 records.

Unlike the round needle or ellipse needle, it can make line contact with the sound groove of the record, and no peak occurs within the necessary band.

By adopting a newly developed small and lightweight special magnet, the weight of the vibrator is reduced.

In addition, a very thin piano wire is used for the point of view of the vibrator to clarify the point of view, thereby improving tracing capability.

It can also be used for stereo recording.
