The tonearm has level-adjustable silicone damping and allows the use of both modern, sensitive cartridges and early "heavy" versions.
Easy to maintain and set up, very musical with rich overtones and recording details.
With a decent head, it easily competes with expensive modern models.

AC-400mk2-tonearm has an anti-skating device designed to offset any natural force directing the tonearm towards the inner wall of the groove. VTA is adjustable on the fly and a range of counterweights where made to match a wide range of cartridges.
