Allows measurment of the anti-skating force applied to the tonearm, while the disk is playing.

Essentially the SG-1E is installed in the headshell instead of your cartridge.

Align it, set the tracking force, and compensate the mass difference with included weights.

Then from any position on the playing disk, the anti-skating side thrust can be read on the meter on the front of the SG-1E.

It also measures bearing friction.
