The slightly inclined design of the acoustics creates an impression of dynamism and allows you

to equalize the phase difference of the high-frequency and mid-frequency speakers.

Thus, dispersion optimization is achieved, which allows the listener to enjoy pure sound.

The speakers are equipped with a 1-inch dome driver, a 6-inch midrange driver,

a 6-inch woofer / midrange driver and four side 7-inch woofers.

7-inch low-frequency speakers are located on both sides of the case,

which allows you to increase the effect of sound power.

With this placement principle, sound streams move in opposite directions.

Diaphragms of low-frequency speakers are made of strong, light aluminum.

Thanks to the configuration, in which two speakers are placed on both sides of the case, powerful

bass is achieved. The use of side low-frequency speakers allows to reduce the thickness of the SCORPIO case,

and the rigid design of the case allows to reduce resonance.

In addition, AUDIO PHYSIC has used side-mounted woofers to reduce vibrations

that are dampened by diaphragms moving in opposite directions.

Vibrations transmitted from the speaker housing can have a negative impact on sound quality.

To protect the audio system from these unwanted vibrations,

the manufacturer equipped SCORPIO with a vibration control terminal (VCT).

The device consists of a massive aluminum panel and a flexible neoprene suspension.

Judging by the channel separation design, placed on two boards (LF + MID / HF), the system is 3.5-band.

The manufacturer does not provide exact data on the frequencies of the section,

but probably the woofers work up to about 150 Hz, the lower front speaker serves

the range from 150 to 500 Hz, and the middle one - from 150 to almost 3 kHz, where the tweeter picks up the baton.

A pair of WBT terminals is installed to connect the amplifier.
